EROVO Impact
The EROVO Impact Fund, a collaboration between Einstein Rising and Ondernemers voor Ondernemers (OVO), is an impact investment fund dedicated to fueling Uganda’s Green and Circular Economy (GCE). Its core mission is to provide tailored capital – from seed to growth loans and larger investment mobilization – to GCE social enterprises, with a 60% focus on women-led ventures, thereby creating green jobs and delivering measurable community and environmental impact.
The EROVO Impact Fund stands out from other funds, particularly within the Ugandan and broader Sub-Saharan African impact investment landscape, due to several key differentiators:

With the expansion, they aim to distribute juice all over Africa using various marketing strategies Currently employing almost 50 people across farming, production, and marketing roles Anna is proud of the company’s positive impact and hopes to grow with AVO support Their goals for 2024 include operating from a new larger facility and processing over 5 million liters annually

Incorporated in Uganda, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai, The Guardian Centre is a track, trace, and rescue organization focused on saving the lives of migrant workers in the UAE.
The entrepreneurship training at Einstein Rising helped me structure the business and positioned us to pitch at KID2022, where we secured 10,000 Euros in funding from Ondernemers voor Ondernemers vzw. This has enabled us to set up offices and a rescue shelter in Saudi Arabia, expanding our life-saving work.

Recognizing the potential it held for his venture, Simon courageously applied and was awarded a substantial grant of $30,000. With this financial boost, Simon embarked on the development of a state-of-the-art production facility, setting the stage for his company’s remarkable growth.

We were running the business at a loss, thinking we were making profits. But after joining Einstein Rising ST4A training, we were able to organize our records and critically analyse our financial margins. This empowered us to make well-informed decisions, such as which products to prioritise and which ones to certify first.
The program also helped me realize the importance of deeply understanding my team to better support them, and the value of knowing our customers and how to communicate with them effectively.
